Goal

Our goal is to provide guidance and support to youth, ages 12 - 20, with developing a positive cultural identity that helps them establish ethnicity, characterized by community involvement, social networking, fellowship, promotion and appreciation for their history and culture so that they can take that to next generation.

Tamil Sangam Youth Committee plans to accomplish this by involving youth in:

I. Social Activities

Sporting events, Tamil book/writing club, Art projects, Dance/singing competitions, Fundraising events, etc.

II. Cultural Events

Provides exciting opportunities to participate in the Tamil Sangam event organization and coordination of services which include back stage help, food service, ticket sales, engagement of youth under age 12, chaperoning, membership services etc.,
