The Carolina Tamil Sangam mobile application uses your existing Carolina Tamil Sangam website and membership account. The mobile application does not create or maintain a separate account.
You may use this page to request deletion of your CTS account and associated personal data.
What happens when you request deletion
After CTS verifies your identity:
Your CTS website account will be scheduled for deletion.
Your access to member-only website and mobile application features will end.
Personal profile information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible.
Associated mobile application information, such as profile information, family information, event responses, check-in information, and digital member identification data, will be deleted or anonymized unless CTS is required to retain it.
This is an account-deletion request, not a temporary account deactivation.
Information CTS may retain
CTS may retain limited information when reasonably required for legal, financial, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or organizational recordkeeping purposes. This may include payment records, transaction history, consent records, and records required to document membership or event activity.
Information that must be retained will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.
Identity verification
To protect your account, CTS will verify the request using the email address registered with your CTS account. CTS will never ask you to provide your password through this form.
If additional verification is necessary, CTS will contact you using your registered contact information.
Processing time
CTS will normally complete a verified deletion request within 15 business days. Requests requiring additional verification or legally required record review may take longer. CTS will notify you when the request has been completed or if additional information is required.
